Born and raised in eastern Kentucky, Rachel Kanney pursued higher education in Philadelphia, earning a photography degree from Drexel University. Her transformative internship in Varanasi, India, fueled a commitment to social causes, where she volunteered and captured compelling stories through her lens. After completing her degree, Rachel immersed herself in the world of printing and design in Philadelphia, joining a company focused on catering to the needs of photographers. Settling in Savannah, she collaborated with a letterpress print shop, managed a t-shirt company, and later transitioned to the non-profit sector at United Way of the Coastal Empire. Employing her diverse skills, Rachel has executed impactful marketing campaigns, driving constructive progress while actively engaging in her passion for Latin dance within the community. With a constant blend of creativity and unwavering dedication, she aims to bring about positive change in the world around her.
